ABSTRACT
This study was carried out to examine product planning distribution and management with special reference to Nigerian Bottling company PLC Enugu. Specifically, the study examine problems usually associated with product planning distribution and management in NBC PLC which require a proposal of remedial measure after reveal areas of the problems.
The study will investigate on the areas of the company’s procurement of raw materials use, How the company plans for its products, How this product is developed, How the management and workers take decision, what channel of distribution is used, and how are the products managed from production to consumption. The study employed the survey descriptive research design. A total of 30 responses were validated from the survey. From the responses obtained and analyzed, the findings revealed that there are problems in procuring raw materials used by your company. The study also revealed that there is a plan before the production of products. Lastly, the study revealed that problems are encounter during planning and managing of products. The study thereby recommend that Nigerian bottling company should be familiar with modern and strategic principal and must draw their attention to the aims and interests of the people and not just company’s. also, there should be a room for periodic, job training for the workers in the production department to avoid the use of outdated method in manufacturing.
